Kids helping Kids is what we're all about. With "Kids Konnected" you don't have to be alone anymore

SuperSibs.org - When a child is diagnosed with cancer, EVERYONE in the family needs healing, including the siblings. These vulnerable brothers and sisters are often left with insufficient support from which to understand that they're not alone, they're not at fault and that their feelings are valid. Together, we can help siblings understand — especially during the fight against cancer — that they are special and important people, too, and that there is support available for their unique needs. SuperSibs! has worked tirelessly to help change the culture of pediatric oncology to ensure that sibling support is integrated into all aspects of care. While we’ve made great strides, we have a long way to go to help these thousands of vulnerable children and teens heal.

The Breast Cancer Site - Please tell ten friends to tell ten today. The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising. Here's the web site! Pass it along to 10 people you know.

Mesothelioma Causes - The Mesothelioma Cancer Center offers the most comprehensive and updated information on asbestos exposure and mesothelioma including what to do if you have received a mesothelioma prognosis.
Mesothelioma, a rare cancer of the lining of the lung, is caused by exposure to asbestos. At some point in our lives, nearly all of us have been exposed to asbestos in the air we breathe and the water we drink; from natural deposits in the earth, and from the deterioration of asbestos products around us. While most of us do not become ill as a result of our exposure, because of long dormancy periods, mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases can remain undetected for over a decade before the patient shows any signs of illness. An exposure of as little as one or two months can result in mesothelioma 30 or 40 years later.

ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis - ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis was founded by a group of women who realized that having breast cancer is about much more than biopsies, surgery and chemotherapy. Most of ABCD’s founders are breast cancer survivors themselves who discovered that the most valuable information and support came from others in similar life circumstances with similar experiences with the disease. But not everyone diagnosed with breast cancer knows where to find that kind of help. That’s where ABCD comes in.
