Fall Camp Teen Angel Activities
What We Do At Fall Camp Teen
Our weekend at Camp Teen Angel is bursting with activities for our campers.
Campers arrive around 3:00 pm on Friday, are greeted by our staff and counselors, and get a chance to settle in to their cabin. There is a brief orientation and some ice-breaker activities before supper. After supper, we are assisted by the Manito-Wish Staff with games, sometimes a presentation or indoor rope climbing, followed by a campfire and sharing time.
Saturday morning we are up early for breakfast and spend the morning doing awareness and trust activities, then lunch in the MLC. After lunch, we will be challenged by the High-ropes Course, where we will fly through the treetops.
After a hearty supper, we have time to prepare for our famous dance. Dan Scafaro will provide the music and there will be plenty of refreshments and snacks. This year we are planning a Sock Hop. Bring your poodle skirt, peg leg jeans, bobby socks, saddle shoes or peddle pushers and rock around the clock. Check out "Grease" or "American Graffiti" for costume ideas.
Sunday morning, we pack up, have a great breakfast and enjoy some time in the Rocking Chair Room before boarding the bus for the trip home with new-found friends.
