Uplifting AngelsAngels Visit Cancer Treatment Centers

Uplifting Angels, the very first program created by Angel On My Shoulder was implemented in 1995.

In the fall and spring of the year, very special “thinking of you” deliveries are planned, prepared and coordinated by Mary Long, our Uplifting Angels Director. These uplifting packages are delivered to over 73 hospitals and cancer clinics throughout the state. Approximately 5,000 cancer patients (young and old alike) are recipients of these right from the heart gifts that are designed to brighten their day and let them know they are tenderly thought of and cared about.

A wonderful team of “Uplifting Angels” graciously and generously offer their time and talents to deliver these gifts that carry messages of hope and support to those living with cancer. We truly could not do it without them.
