Thanks to the incredible support of each and every one of you, Angel On My Shoulder was able to implement its very first Angel Scholarship Program. Angel On My Shoulder offers scholarships to survivors of cancer, students who have an immediate family member affected by cancer or are an Angel On My Shoulder Volunteer. Awards are granted based on qualifications and need. All applications are subject to review by a committee selection process. Students must plan to attend a four year college, specialty or technical school. This scholarship will be presented by a representative of Angel On My Shoulder at the schools of the chosen students. After providing proof of enrollment, payment will be sent to the institution of choice.
Five $1,000 scholarships were awarded in 2008 to graduating seniors. Awards were granted based on qualifications and need. With your continued support we plan on continuing our Angel Scholarship Program for many years to come.
