Angel On My Shoulder

AOMS 2023 Letter

After Nearly 30 Years of Supporting Cancer Community in Wisconsin, Angel On My Shoulder Sunsets Foundation; Creates New “Angel Endowments”

Following the heavenly transition of Dick Rose, who fought a courageous battle with cancer, the Rose family, led by his wife Lolly, created “Angel On My Shoulder.” For 28 years here in Wisconsin, the mission of this cancer support foundation has provided support to those living with or affected by cancer in most impactful and meaningful ways.

“Keenly aware of the strength of love, this foundation was created to ‘give back’ through our mission of making a positive and profound difference to individuals and families affected by cancer,” said Angel On My Shoulder Founder and Executive Director, Lolly Rose. “In this spirit and with grateful hearts after nearly 30 years, the Rose Family has sunsetted the foundation, instead transitioning to a legacy of love through Angel endowments.”

Angel On My Shoulder will evolve with new opportunities available to continue their mission to support individuals, children and families on their cancer journeys. The family’s decision to “Pay It Forward” through newly established” “Angel Endowments” was made with faith, hope and genuine compassion for those in need.

Based on the high volume of referrals provided to us on an ongoing basis throughout Angel’s 28 years, along with the importance of statewide outreach, Angel On My Shoulder proudly names the following health care facilities as recipients of our endowments:

“Angel On My Shoulder would be honored and beyond grateful if you would kindly consider any one or more of these as a giving opportunity,” said Lolly. “It would truly be a meaningful tribute to Angel On My Shoulder’s 28 years of an incredible “Labor of Love” by continuing to support our mission of embracing the needs of individuals, children and families on their cancer journeys to bring them light, peace and hope.” She also added, “To all of our Angel friends and supporters, we extend our genuine and deepest appreciation for your kindness and, generosity over the years. We are and always will be ‘Angel Family’ as we all should remember to ‘Celebrate Life.’”
