A diagnosis of cancer can lead to all sorts of questions, concerns and confusion. As an organization dedicated to helping all those facing such challenges, we’ve had the opportunity to review literally hundreds of resources that are readily available online. Here are some of the best. We’ve partnered to provide programming with some, and others provide additional resources.

  • Camp Luther

    Camp Luther provides a host of programs for children and youth, families, and adults. It is the home of our July Camp Angel Summer Retreat.

  • Camp Manito-Wish YMCA

    Camp Manito-wish YMCA is the home of our Summer and Fall Camp Teen Angel and also our Winter Camp Angel. Camp Manito-Wish has been providing outstanding camp and wilderness tripping experiences for boys and girls ages 10-18.

  • WRJO 94.5 FM Oldies

    WRJO Radio, along with on-air personalities Mike Wolf and Amy Linnett, co-sponsor the annual Original Northwoods Polar Bear Plunge and Pledge-A-Thon.

  • Gilda's Club

    Gilda's Club Madison creates a community of free emotional support, education, and hope for children and adults with any cancer diagnosis and those who care about them. All programs are offered at no cost.

  • Wilderness Hotel and Resort

    Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells is billed as “America’s Largest Waterpark” and is the home of our Healing Angels program.

  • Wintergreen Hotel & Conference Center

    The Wintergreen Hotel & Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells is home to our Angel Care Retreats.

  • Wisconsin Cancer Council

    The Wisconsin Cancer Council is a coalition of over 60 organizations dedicated to the development and coordination of a comprehensive cancer control program in Wisconsin. Its members include public health agencies, professional societies, treatment centers, voluntary organizations, patient advocacy groups, and more.

  • Wisconsin Lions Camp

    The Wisconsin Lions Camp is dedicated to providing a quality camping experience free-of-charge to eligible Wisconsin residents who are Blind or visually impaired, Deaf or Hard of Hearing, youth with mild cognitive disabilities and youth with diabetes.

    Camp Hozhoni weekend is held at the Wisconsin Lions Camp the weekend after Labor Day each year.

  • Badger Childhood Cancer Network

    Badger Childhood Cancer Network’s mission is to educate, support, serve and advocate for children with cancer, their families, survivors of childhood cancer and the professionals who care for them.

    Our Goal is to provide appropriate support to children with cancer and blood disorders and their families, from diagnosis to the end of treatment, into survivorship or through bereavement.

  • Families of Children With Cancer

    Families of Children With Cancer was founded on the belief that when a child is sick, the entire family is affected. Their support focuses on the individual child along with the family.

    Support is offered in times of need – at diagnosis, before surgery, during hospitalization, upon relapse, as death approaches, as a child is taken off treatment and as a cured child makes his or her way to adulthood.
