AOMS SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT . . . 2020 PROGRAMMING

At Angel, we have been working tirelessly to find a path to address the devastating onset of COVID-19 and its repercussions to our programming and purpose. In just a few months, the world has been changed dramatically by this unpredictable Pandemic. It is so hard to comprehend the uncertainty of it and how it has, and is, changing our lives daily.

We have been continually monitoring and giving in-depth consideration to how we could move forward with the remainder of our 2020 scheduled programs in these unprecedented times. It was our great hope to hold onto this year’s programming and have exhausted every effort to find a way. Unfortunately, the unknown timelines and many logistical and ever-changing challenges have led us to make the incredibly difficult decision to suspend our remaining 2020 program offerings:

Camp Angel                July                      Children ages 7-14 affected by cancer through loved ones.

Camp Hozhoni         September         Cancer patients/survivors ages 18 & younger & their families.

Healing Angels         September        Weekend retreats for Cancer Survivors.

Uplifting Angels       September        Distribute Gifts to Children Oncology Units.

 -Kids

This decision was made with a heavy heart and thoughtful deliberation. We know this is beyond disappointing news for all of our participants, volunteers and everyone involved. Angel On My Shoulder truly shares that disappointment. You can be assured that we thoroughly explored every option with the ultimate decision totally centered on the well being and safety of all.

We will keep the faith and are hopefully (and prayerfully) optimistic that this Pandemic will end soon and healing will come for us all. Although sadly we are unable to fulfill our scheduled 2020 programs, Angel On My Shoulder is forever committed to and supports all those affected by cancer. You remain in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

In hope and healing . . . Stay safe, Stay well, Stay strong!

Take Care and God Bless,

Lolly Rose,  Founder/Executive Director and

the Angel On My Shoulder Board of Directors

A Message From Founder/Executive Director, Lolly Rose

Angels Danced the Day We Were Born!
Angel on My Shoulder turns “Twenty Five” on February 21, 2020.

I am so proud of Angel and how its wing span has grown throughout these twenty-five remarkable years of touching hearts and lives.

It is a great personal honor and joy to know that Angel On My Shoulder, a purposeful labor of love, has become and continues to be, a blessing through its many programs and services to those navigating the emotional and stressful world of cancer.

We each possess the power to give of ourselves. Cancer has a face. In its world it is easy to get lost in the numbers. Although there are many people living with the same cancer, no one lives it in the same way. We try to embrace each individual’s needs . . . personally, uplifting and with genuine passion and compassion.

Our Board of Directors reviews our program offerings annually to effectively address the unique needs of the cancer affected community in the most impactful and meaningful ways. Our mission is to provide and maintain quality cancer support programs designed to bring light, peace and hope to those living with or affected by cancer.

In that spirit, we proudly celebrate, along with each of you, twenty five years of making a positive and profound difference to those living with or affected by cancer.

May the future bring you peace, hope, faith, love and rainbows to follow the clouds.

Take Care and God Bless,

Lolly Rose
